The Geert Hofstede Consortium organises a Pressure Cooker Week to support students with their dissertation proposal as part of the MIC Graduation Project.
During this intensive programme with dissertation writing workshops, tips from previous dissertation students and poster presentations, will be facilitated and supported in writing their dissertation proposal.
The first meeting for International Communication students and lecturers will take place on September 5th, 10:00 at Vilnius university Faculty of Communication, Saulėtekio av. 9, first building, auditorium Nr. 203.

Prof. Miha Kovač (University of Ljubljana, Slovenia) visited Faculty of Communication and read lectures for students who study Publishing and Advertisement. Prof. Miha Kovač’s interests are publishing in 21st century, history of publishing and publishing statistics. He is well known for this book „Never Mind The Web: Here Comes The Book“ (Oxford, 2008), also works with publishing group „Mladinska Knjiga Group“ and is President of European Publishing Studies Association (EuroPub).
We talked with prof. Miha Kovač about death of a traditional book, changes in reading and artificial intelligence.
Kimmo Lipponen, CEO of Finnish Association for Social Enterprises, visited Vilnius university‘s Faculty of Communication (Lithuania) and read lectures for International Communication students about business and social responsibility.
Kimmo Lipponen has been a director of Corporate Social Responsibility at „Nokia“, board member of Boston College and Finnish Olympic Committee, UEFA Committee member and CEO at Football Association of Finland. He has a lot of experience working in the corporate social responsibility field, social enterprise, sports management and non-profit strategy and management.
We talked with Kimmo Lipponen about social enterprises and social awarenes in business.
