The summer school about the war and peace journalism was organised by a network "Strategic communication competencies for leadership" in Uppsala University. On 11-16 of June students and teachers have participated in the international summer school 2018 War and Peace Journalism in an Age of Global Instability that was held in Sweden, at Uppsala University. There were more than 60 students and teachers from academic partners from Vilnius University, Turība University, Estonian Business School, Tartu University, Uppsala University have joined activities in Uppsala.
After two successful international summer school in Vilnius 2016 and in Riga 2017 Nordplus Higher Education have approved the application for the third summer school that will take place in Uppsala University (Sweden) on June 2018.
Summer school The Country Image and Information Warfare witch will focus on the topic of understanding image of country, information warfare and propaganda has started with the opening speech of prof. Andrius Vaišnys, the dean of the Faculty of Communication, Vilnius University.
One of the organisers of the summer school dr. Andris Petersons discuss the idea to make the joint program and to talk about strategic communication issues.
