In an era dominated by digital information technologies, the confluence of archaeology and the broader public takes center stage. On December 11, 2023, from 16:00 to 17:00 GMT, esteemed speakers Prof. Rimvydas Laužikas, Dr. Ingrida Kelpšienė, and Indrė Jovaišaitė-Blaževičienė from Vilnius University will lead a seminar exploring the intersection of archaeology and non-archaeological professionals.
This seminar series addresses some of the most important challenges faced by researchers and students involved in academic research. The seminars will be held by Prof. dr. Costis Dallas, who is a Head of the Digital Cultures and Communication Department.
November 30th - December 1st, Vilnius University, together with the French Embassy and the Institut Français, is organising a conference “Culture and Imaginary Facing the War”. This event is part of the “In the Face of War – European Dialogues” lecture series.
