We invite you to a practical session about the most popular tools created for journalists and researchers which allow them to analyze large collections of diverse data in a short time. Join us and discover the latest capabilities of Pinpoint, and other instantly available and free of charge digital tools that help journalists around the world to break the news, dig deeper into their stories, fact check and parse large collections of data at a rate of knots!

About the lecturer:
Before joining the Teaching Team at Google News Initiative, Natalia worked as a Senior Investigative Editor at Fundacja Reporterów, the Organized Crime and Corruption Reporting Project (OCCRP) partner in Poland. Before that she spent 10 years in the Balkans and worked as a Project Manager and Reporter for the Balkan Initiative Reporting Network (BIRN), Sky News, Al Jazeera and many other regional and international media. She was also a researcher at the Global Initiative against Transnational Organized Crime. She is an alumna of the Harvard-supported, the Leadership Academy for Poland and was twice in a role of a teaching assistant for the program.
