Mantas Martišius is an associate professor at the Institute of Journalism in Vilnius University Communication faculty where he is currently teaching Information Wars, Propaganda Theory and Media and Advertising.

In 2007 he got this Phd in humanitarian science after defending theses on “The impact of the information warfare on the mass media of Lithuania (in the context of second Persian Gulf war)“In 2010 he published monograph (Not)obvious war. Information wars study.

Mantas Martišius is one of the most visible scientist in Lithuania concerning the Information war field. He is regular participant in national and international Information war conferences, seminars and public lectures. Moreover, he has written articles in both Lithuanian and English on various aspects of Communication.
