On February 18th at 11:00 a.m., Dr. Lutaaya Clement Nabutto from Makerere University (Uganda) will deliver a public lecture titled "Trends in Library and Information Science in Uganda" at the Faculty of Communication.
Dr. Lutaaya Clement Nabutto is a lecturer at Makerere University, College of Computing and Information Science, Department of Library and Information Science, where she has been teaching since 2021. She has vast experience in management of university libraries where she previously worked for 20 years as University library head before joining Makerere university. Currently, she is the Acting Head of the Library and Information Science Department. Her research and professional interests include the training and development of library staff, academic library management, knowledge management, ICTs application in libraries and bibliometrics.
The lecture is open to everyone and will be held in English.
