On September 23rd at 9 a.m. and 11 a.m., Professor Heiko Hartmann will lead two open seminars on the topic "The Future of Reading and Its Impact on Books and Media" at the Faculty of Communication.
Prof. Dr. Heiko Hartmann has been a professor of Book and Media Economics and Media Marketing at the Hochschule für Technik, Wirtschaft und Kultur (HTWK) in Leipzig, Germany, since 2013. He held various management positions in non-fiction and academic publishing houses for 16 years. From 2009 to 2014, he was an honorary professor of Publishing Studies at the Free University of Berlin. His main research and teaching focuses include current problems of book economics and the relationship between media use and media publishing, as well as philological projects in the field of German medieval studies.
Anyone interested is welcome to attend. These sessions will be interactive: during the seminars, participants will be invited to actively discuss, reflect, and get involved.
