With reference to the series of seminars promoted by the Geert Hofstede Consortium we are glad to announce the first online open event - Whistleblowing: an international perspective.
Organized by IULM University’s International Affairs office, the Centre for Employee Relations and Communication (CERC) at IULM University, the Geert Hofstede Consortium, and Transparency International Italy it will take place on November 19th, 15.00-16.30 CET, and will be targeted at both students and professionals.
Corporate wrongdoing is a major issue today in all kind of organizations and whistleblowing arrangements can be an effective strategy to prevent it when they are adopted with the aim of favouring employee voice, including dissent.
The online public event “Whistleblowing: an international perspective” will host a debate with the contributions of:
- Audra Diers-Lawson, Senior Lecturer at the School of Public Relations and Journalism at Leeds Beckett University
- Giorgio Fraschini, expert of whistleblowing at Transparency International Italy
- Alessandra Mazzei, Associate Professor of Corporate Communication at Università IULM and Director at CERC
