2015 has been announced as the International Year of Light by UNESCO. Light and Space has served as a creative impulse and inspiration for 12 artists from 8 different countries working all together in the Lithuanian seaside resort Palanga.
The culmination of this project in Lithuania, the international art exhibition “Lights in Space” was opened in Vilnius Town Hall showcasing the creativity of mind and professional skills of Artur Desiro and Corinne Ungerer (France), Joan Belmar and Jackson Riffe (USA), Dimbeng (Ivory Coast), Premila Singh (South Africa), Grete Marstein (Norway), Peeter Krosmann (Estonia), Agnija Germane (Latvija), Giedrė Riškutė, Audrius Gražys and Martinas Jankus (Lithuania).
Students of the Faculty of Communication were kindly invited to join the ranks of volunteers and to assist the management of the international event. Creativity communication was joined by foreign language skills at their best. Both the artists and the organizing committee have expressed their gratitude and admiration for the group involved.
