Project duration: from 2022 March until 2024 December

This project has received funding from the Research Council of Lithuania (LMTLT)

The aim of the project is to ensure the uninterrupted functioning of the Lithuanian scientific journal "Knygotyra" in the area of social sciences and humanities.

“Knygotyra” is the only scholarly journal of its kind in Lithuania and Baltic region. The journal has a multi‐layered structure and seeks to cover interdisciplinary research topics on book and digital media history and culture, including book history and historiography, traditional and digital publishing, research on media literacy and reading, printed and digital heritage. The long‐standing tradition of publishing (since 1961), the qualifications of well‐known authors and the timeliness of research issues are the factors that earned international recognition of “Knygotyra”. Since 2018 “Knygotyra” is indexed in the Scopus database and has moved in one year from the third quartile (Q3) to the first one (Q1), which shows its international impact.
